    Transitioning from infant to toddler help from experienced mommas

    @esj Nothing wrong with a regular crib and I’m sure you could get a high chair for cheap or free on marketplace if you don’t mind used. I’ve never even considered a mini crib. My 2yo has been just sitting in a chair at the table since around when he turned 2. Infant car seat was a must, imo.

    We are finally home after 150 days in NICU (born 24+1, 1.5 lbs, had PIE, PDA, ROP, pulmonary hypertension and BPD, left at 10 lbs and 1/8 L oxygen)

    Freaking out about canning

    @3angels Honestly, I’m too freaked out by botulism to can. My household just does fridge pickles and freezes stuff. You can roast tomatoes and freeze them, for example

    @mrexpress Congrats! My second was also PPROM (28+6-> 33+1) and being without my 2yo was so rough! You can really see the impact of holding out so long since your NICU stay was relatively short.
