What’s everyone’s twins going for Halloween?

@maryatexaschristian 6m boys! We’ve got a skunk passed down from his sister for one and the other is in a similar turtle one passed down from another friend! Everyone asked how we chose who got to be what… well A is the turtle since he rolls onto his back in the middle of the night and wakes up...

What’s everyone’s twins going for Halloween?

@cruxis117 It’s gahhhhh-Linda. Gosh. Watching so much frozen has gotten me back into listening to the Wicked Soundtrack just so I can hear more Idina Menzel. But really now, are you also doing green face paint for Elphaba/Wicked Witch?

Is it a FTM thing? A singleton thing? A personality thing?

@goblue24 My husband and I were having the helmet convo just this morning! He saw a post from a triplet parent on Instagram and all three had helmets, and he was like, “is it a genetic thing?” And I had to remind him that multiples just spend SO much more time in containers or laying flat in...

    I’m tired

@kody I’d probably just make it to the in n out in Keizer and then go home, but those few glorious hours would just be… lovely.

    Vaginal v CSection Birth

@ntlfr8 I was a very different situation that you. I had a csec for my singleton and no desire for a vbac. A was head down, B breech. As placenta was over my previous C-section incision making me a high risk for placenta acretta and hemorrhage. I wanted a tubal done at delivery. I also had blood...

    I don’t get it

@15gb2 My boys a little twins so I have to have a schedule or everything is off since there are two of them. But they are also easy in terms of reading their signs. Fussy AF? Time for a nap. Wake up from nap? Feed. Cry if they are still hungry or just stop taking a bottle. They are creatures of...

    Unvaccinated Nanny

@lauriesinglemom Is she vaccinated for everything else? Are your twins vaccinated against Covid/RSV yet? My twins had Covid at 4m and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting. A fever for a few days and extra fussy, but more like any other cold. We had to go into the hospital for the Covid...

Having twins is my favorite thing

@chryslee09 I say a similar thing about my 2.5y singleton who has a BIG personality. Would it be easier with a kid with less personality? Probably. But it is so much more fun to see that strong personality in action. (My twins are newborns so they are not fully showing their personalities yet)

How are people moving their twins from place to place?

@msrain50 If my toddler was FF though, I’d still have her in the middle and lean over from the drivers side to buckle her.

    7 weeks with twins

@sinnerchief I also was shocked, scared and a bit unhappy about the news of twins. But now that they are here and 11m, things are amazing. I couldn’t imagine life without them. My twins are actually easier than my singleton toddler! It’s scary for sure. It makes you a high risk pregnancy and...

    Best Carrier?

@xd005 I have a funky/unhappy back so I have to wear my carrier fully on my hips, like in my hip notch/9?34 my pelvic bone. For the Lillebaby, the wide waist band hit my thighs when I had it comfortable on my back. For the ergo babys, regardless of adjustment and position wearing them, they all...

How are people moving their twins from place to place?

@msrain50 Toddler (almost 3) is able to climb over brothers seat and into her own. My car isn’t that big, Subaru Outback, so I can lean over and get her buckled. Then brother goes in. But I’m also able to do this in my husbands f150, and I’m not that tall, only 5’4. It’s easier than you are...

How are people moving their twins from place to place?

@msrain50 I have toddler in middle RF, then twins on either side. We moved to the convertibles early since they were getting too heavy at 7.5m. They are both 22lbs… and there’s a set of stairs down to our car from the front door

    1 crib vs 2

@theophilac20 We have two cribs. We did a double bassinet for a while but it was short lived, only about 8w. They nap SO much better in separate rooms so we have a guava lotus travel crib in our guest room that B sleeps in though they share a room at night. If one of them is sick/teething and...

Experience with soft & simple toddler hip carriers like Wild Ride or Dear Baby AU?

@tinaj I have a hippie Joey and love it! Similar in theory. I never really got comfortable with a ring sling… couldn’t find a spot where the ring wouldn’t hit me/baby, especially by my collar bone. Probably user error, but I gave up lol

    Best Carrier?

@xd005 I absolutely hate all the ergo carriers (tried the adapt, original, 360 and Omni breeze…) and I didn’t like Lillebaby but really love my Tula so it shows how different people are! What Tula do you have? If you like the way Tula feels but baby isn’t happy, you could try the explore if you...

    Exclusively pumping 3 weeks pp.

@goldielocks I have twins and am a SAHM. I said to myself when I was pregnant that I don’t want to get trapped into pumping where I can’t be present with my babies. Breastmilk might be better than formula (though sibling studies say there’s no difference) but be THERE to me was more important...
