Tell me I’m not a bad parent

@dan54fis Ours gets an hour of miss Rachel every weekend morning and she’s ahead of the curve on all of her developmental milestones. TVs don’t make good parents but they’re not nuclear waste. You’re fine.

Solo-dadding for 3 days while wife is gone, and just took it from a 0/10 night to a 10/10 morning

@chriscb There’s some deep wisdom in this post — sometimes the best thing you can do is just remove the kid from the center of attention and just do something with your life (with them in tow). On the weekends I’ve been left alone with our baby girl, when I just get so bored and fed up and...

A big recommendation list for folks about to have a baby

@ehron214 In the early months, if you can, stay in the habit of leaving the house. Every day if possible. It’s so easy to grow into the couch. But when you build the habit of having a fully stocked diaper bag ready to go at all times, with any luck your baby will grow accustomed to falling...

Kid is 7 and starting to stink

@pt_barnum Can confirm, had a friend in college who wore 'natural deodorant' and she stank to high heaven. Didn't have the heart to tell her.

This newborn stage is killer , my boy is 6 weeks and is up every hour or so feeding , any advice to get through this ?

@tiiira You basically need to set all of your milestone expectations back a month, yes. But it’s still so variable from baby to baby, and for most babies, 4 weeks is within the standard deviation from average.
