    Parenting discussion w/ husband

@gavenv What does hitting teach? You get hit when you make a mistake? Doesn’t happen to adults so I’ve never understood it especially as someone who was punished physically as a kid. Makes that parent not safe and makes the child afraid in their own home. If he’s on tiktok I highly recommend...

6 months PP and feel 95 years old!

@deyahss41 I’m a year pp and am just now coming through all the weird ailments that were never problems prepregnancy. Had weird knee and back pain. My fingers. I feel like it’s a 9-10mo thing to make the babies, gotta take at least the at much time to be on the other side of it.

"They slept like angels, they always do!"

@overcoming1 To clarify - I’ve been told helmets are inevitable for MY babies from our PT. I am doing absolutely everything I can within my abilities and they aren’t seeing improvements.

    Overwhelmed need to vent

@gforperplexed My bitterness faded as improvements happened but it takes time. Unfortunately I won’t tell you it gets easier but you do acquire more skills along the way to help process/deal. When people asked for updates I said - there won’t be a ton of updates - “babies name” is getting their...

    Overwhelmed need to vent

@gforperplexed Thank you for posting. It’s validating for me. I didn’t want to send photos. Fuck off. I don’t have updates. Fuck off. The situation you’re in sucks. It isn’t fair. Yell as loud as you can into the void. Sending hugs and solidarity. I am so sorry for what is happening.

"They slept like angels, they always do!"

@goblue24 Thanks for sharing! Also thanks for mentioning the helmets. Mine are still little 9.5 weeks adjusted (16 weeks actual) and i've been told that the helmets are inevitable which I am still processing but it makes my heart hurt a little less seeing someone else mention them.

Baby to her own room at 10 weeks?

@jul1a I’ll add a different perspective to some of the other comments. I had twins born 33w4d. Home around 38 weeks. We couldn’t sleep at all with all the sound they made. So we loved them to their own room probably within the first couple weeks home like…maybe just at their due date early...

    Help with sleep training

@darren81 You have to hunt a little but on desktop I think there’s literally a tab called guides. It’s more of like a page that has a ton of posts on it. There’s an outline to see what section you want to read/hunt for.

    Help with sleep training

@strugglingsinner1 I joined a Facebook group Twins Triplets and Quads: Safe Sleep Training and learning for multiples. I recommend joining and reading their guide. I’ll be curious to see what the other parents recommend here. We are 6 weeks adjusted so too early to sleep train but it’s in the...

Tips for cleanup after eating that isn’t a dog

@mattbraunlin Okay good call. We got the ikea high chairs too! Are you taking them outside to hose down or like a spray attachment inside? Do you clean the babies up with wet cloths after? It’s so messy!!

@ipray4u Yeah I’m coming to a realization today. I need an attitude change. 😂 I like the food broom idea!

Tips for cleanup after eating that isn’t a dog

So…babies are 7 months (5.5 adj) we’re slowly starting to try food. We have tile but I’m hoping I can get some pro tips from y’all on how to wrangle the mess most efficiently. Realizing I’m going to be doing this multiple times a day coming up crushes me.
