@jessiejackson I hear people say this and I truly wonder whether the older years are actually harder or if it's the "rose colored glasses" phenomenon. I think it's people missing the cuteness. I guess I won't know until we get there. They do say little kids little problems, big kids big problems.

@cindyfernandez I had high hopes for those water drawing books but they give me mayyyybe 5 min lol. Water proof overalls is so smart. I’m going to look into those ASAP. Bc we NEED to be able to go outside year round.

@dcoders Keeping pairings in mind is so smart! I’ve been trying to pair activities that don’t pair - if that makes sense - like occupy the little one with Veggie paint while I play a game with the big one. But I like the idea of picking pairings that we can all do together so much more!

@dariab Yes! Do you have any other snack ideas? My kids need 385728 snacks per day and I run out of ideas so fast.

@bat7bruce My husband wants me to use daycare more. I keep debating at least a gym with a nursey. But both things are expensive and commitments and I guess I'm hoping the nicer weather will keep me from needing them. But my little will start morning nursery school two days a week next fall at least.

@bernielyle Totally agree! The kids just don't listen to me when I sit patiently next to them to explain why they need to put shoes on. And sometimes I don't have that kinda time! I'm still going to set it as my goal, but just not expect that it'll always happen.

@brucepjr I wish we could go out first thing! My big kid has preK in the morning so we can’t all go out together until 2 or so. I love some of these ideas though like running around the mall and the bakery! Genius!

New SAHM here. I have this awesome list of tons of fun places we can go and things we can do. Turns out it’s really exhausting going out with a 1 and 3 year old. And especially with the weather turning I’m needing ideas for more things we can do at home. My oldest loves games and art but my...
