    Activity table vs baby walker

@graceb Both my kids liked our activity table a lot. We didn’t have a walker, though we did have a toddler grocery cart that I put a soft weighted exercise ball in (2 pounds, I think) so he could push it without it tipping over.

Hello, it’s me, the ANTILOP hater here. What’s a better high chair?

@chris77777 Maybe try troubleshooting before investing in a new high chair? Are you certain the harness is properly tightened? A lot of high chairs have similar harnesses, so avoiding those might limit your options. ETA: Pic of proper harnessing

Chewable gas relief for little kids?

@shefa This is actually for my 4 year old — I don’t think there’s a “buying for preschoolers” sub, though, and you’ve all been giving great suggestions for my baby. But yes, probiotic drops with vitamin D are wonderful for babies! My 4 year old is also on probiotics, but maybe I should do a...

Waterproof gloves that aren’t too bulky? For 4 year old

@michael1981 Lol, I might have to try that!

Waterproof gloves that aren’t too bulky? For 4 year old

@godly Thank you for searching! They say water repellent, but unfortunately most fleece gloves make that claim without actually providing much protection from water. (I guess they mean a light drizzle might bead up and drip off, but not sticking your hands into piles of wet leaves and puddles?)...

Chewable gas relief for little kids?

@mikkilyne For the vast majority of kids, that’s definitely the answer! But my 4 year old really hates liquid medicine. He has some oral texture aversions which might be contributing to that. When he had a fever and we were out of chewable Tylenol, I needed to give him his baby brother’s...

Waterproof gloves that aren’t too bulky? For 4 year old

@tracytray02 I thought I was going crazy because what I’m looking for seems like something that should exist everywhere. When Amazon failed me, I checked Target’s site, then a bunch of kid clothes stores like Carter’s and The Children’s Place, then Walmart, Kohl’s, etc. How do these not exist...

Chewable gas relief for little kids?

@sscablao I think my current plan is to check with a pharmacist to see if there’s a prescription children’s chewable simethicone, and if there isn’t, I’ll ask them about cutting up cherry Gas-X. Conveniently, my 2nd covid vaccine is at Walgreens tomorrow, so I might be able to ask when I’m there...

Waterproof gloves that aren’t too bulky? For 4 year old

@tracytray02 I didn’t even those those existed — thanks for the info! I’m still going to keep looking for actual gloves, but those might be a good temporary solution that might turn into a permanent solution when I eventually give up finding the perfect gloves, haha.

Chewable gas relief for little kids?

Are there chewable versions of simethicone at children’s dosages (40 mg, equivalent to 0.6 mL Mylicon drops) without calcium carbonate? Children’s Mylicon and Pepto Kids both contain calcium carbonate, and the lowest dose chewable Gax-X I could find is 125 mg (adult dose).

Waterproof gloves that aren’t too bulky? For 4 year old

I’m having a hard time finding waterproof (or even very water-resistant) gloves that can fit my 4 year old while still letting him actually move his fingers. He goes to daycare where they spend most of the day outside, and his gloves always end up wet. There are plenty of waterproof mittens and...
