My fiancee's milk is in before mine! So happy! <3 (X-post from /r/BabyBumps)

@blueeasy LOL Yeah I don't recommend it, to be honest. My fiancee is only taking hormones because she is transgender (MtF) and honestly, it's not so much the hormones that's causing the lactation as it is the lactation inducer (domperidone). Taking hormones can be dangerous and can have some...

My fiancee's milk is in before mine! So happy! <3 (X-post from /r/BabyBumps)

@dreamwalker52 Oh LOL I wasn't really pumping to produce. Because it is new to her, I showed her on myself how the manual pump worked so she could see, but I maybe only used it for a few minutes (if it was even that long).

@dreamwalker52 I have my c-section scheduled for this coming Monday, May 12th. We're starting her pumping a little early to at least get the stimulation and get her body used to the sensation (and we wanted to see if she was even producing anything yet)

My fiancee's milk is in before mine! So happy! <3 (X-post from /r/BabyBumps)

@dolordrememberme Honestly she's not even producing enough to come down into the pump. Right now per the instructions of the lactation consultant, we're just starting her off 5 minutes at a time on each side ever 4 hours. She'll maybe get a few drops on the nipples, but everything is still...

@dlkoch Luckily her work is making arrangements with her to pump on breaks, and we've basically come to the plan of whoever is bf at the moment the other will be pumping that way we can avoid the undersupply problem. That's the plan at least :p

My fiancee's milk is in before mine! So happy! <3 (X-post from /r/BabyBumps)

@blueskies94 Honestly, I had issues with not having enough reserves with my daughter the first time around (we had to suppliment with formula if we wanted to go out), so we'll probably be keeping it stored in the freezer for nights out or when family wants to have her for a few hours. I don't...

@jctvcbn Thanks for the congrats. As far as the link, thank you for sharing. Tbh many people do have this concern, and that's why we consulted with our doctors and why I recommend ANYONE do the same. Not to take anything away from the credentials of the person who made that post, but sexology...

@keath Yes, it'll be nice having some help with night duty, but to be honest it's really not going to make a difference because to keep both of our supplies up, whichever of us isn't feeding needs to be pumping, so yeah. Still gonna have longer nights :p

(This is a x-post from /r/BabyBumps - original thread found here: ) So as many of you may know by now, my fiancee is transgender (MtF), and this has been such an exciting journey for us both. While she has only begun HRT about 6 weeks ago, she immediately began taking domperidone with...
