    @healingrainbow Hmm. Even a 3-6 month wait might be worth it. I imagine most of the UK, and even a hefty proportion of the USA will have vaccines by then. Then I would re-assess how I really felt. it's a huge decision, and really shouldn't be rushed.

    @healingrainbow Do you mind my asking your age? Even if you have only a few months to play with it could be helpful - the COVID-19 situation might be a little more manageable (ie vaccines available), as well as giving you a bit of time to think and work out what you really want.

    @sociology I'm also the youngest of five. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. If you stop now, I doubt that your existing children will miss the siblings they never had, which begs the question, 'Why have another?' Some people might also bring up potential Down's syndrome etc, but I think...

    To have or not to have?

    @eatay In one of the other comments you said you 'let him know what he is agreeing to'. With that in mind, how much has he been around little children? Do you have young nieces and nephews you could borrow to give him an inkling? Because if he decides after a month that he doesn't like it...
