@gabjensnsn123 That was what I was told when I asked about not getting the TDaP when pregnant in the UK as well - that the risk/amount of cases was higher in the US than in the UK. FWIW I didn't research to confirm if that was true, so don't take this as fact, just the explanation I was given...

@human123 Oh then I’m mistaken, I did get a whooping cough vaccine! I think I’m conflating two memories - I asked if my husband should get it and was told no. But I got the whooping cough vaccine both times, so sorry for the confusion.

@human123 Are we recommended to get it when pregnant? I haven't had it with either pregnancy and was told it wasn't needed.
