@mmiranda Thx! A lot of what I named is based off of my own mistakes of trying to be perfect at this and then beating myself up when I failed. I put WAY too much pressure on myself during the first couple of years of my transition... I thought I could do it all at once but honestly the stress...

@suomisidney I will look to see if I can find the studies. Have you looked at the labels of Nature Made products? There is literally nothing safe about ANYTHING in this 😬 https://preview.redd.it/na8trp0xmaad1.jpeg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbca1c2ee3b7143d4f962f969eb522073f347082

@allisonintx To grant yourself grace and know you'll never be able to be perfect at this or avoid toxins completely. Don't compare yourself to these super moms who can do it all. Don't feel guilty if you allow your kid to splurge at a birthday party Read labels. Start researching ingredients...

How to smell good in a nontoxic way?

@superpeople I've made natural body sprays/room sprays by soaking herbs in alcohol for 6 weeks then straining out and also making them with essential oils/witch hazel/glycerin. Neither had a smell that lasted longer than 2 seconds unfortunately. Ive also bought Aura Cacia body spray (made with...

    washing non-organic produce

@shiney77 Oh it's public knowledge where I'm at. Been all over the news for years for this town. Actually my entire state is pretty bad but the little town I'm in is REALLY bad. They also keep issuing out warnings for that 1,4 dioxane stuff here... Sometimes things get so bad that they offer...

    washing non-organic produce

@nolongerchaff When I have time - I soak in baking soda and water then rinse. Otherwise I scrub real good with Castile soap, peel it, and hope that's good enough 🤷 Edited to add that the water here is heavily contaminated with PFAS... So I wonder just how much soaking my produce is poisoning...
