@col1 Last time I've looked into this for my sister I've read that cosleeping with school age children (6+) can actually worsen anxiety. It's certainly going to be hard to break that habit but short term pain of those meltdowns will eventually net you less and less meltdowns and more sleep...

@glowfood Little kids love some degree of responsibility. They want to feel independent and important. We talked alot and still do about how the big sibling is going to show the baby all the cool things and how the baby is going to think they are so awesome. She's her biggest teacher.

@jnat24 I would be cautious about that graph. Because it's wrong for Czechia. We have 28 weeks of paid maternity and then parental leave with government support till age 3/4.

@damacri I'll check the study again in the evening. But Europe & early infancy daycare does not really compute for me. The earliest I can imagine would be 6 months but more likely around 1 year at least going by maternity and parental leave in the countries alone. Btw. one needs to consider...

@elisjohn This bit seems particularly relevant. I only skimmed it but at least the European countries data seems to be from 2 years minimum.
