    Shouldn’t do this, shouldn’t do that…

@devinbaker I’ve always wondered if having their twin in the same room helps them settle more easily. It’s probably more of the fact that twins have no choice but to self soothe. There are times one is screaming his head off but I’m tending to his twin or older brother and the unhappy twin just...

    Shouldn’t do this, shouldn’t do that…

@kittymeow1919 Seriously, just do what works for you. My firstborn was a stubborn kid and I rocked and nursed him to sleep until we were ready to try sleep training (which was a personal choice - no judgement if you do or don’t). My twins, on the other hand, have put themselves to sleep without...

    Inexpensive video monitor?

@thief3 No, but I chose that on purpose since I’ve heard of security issues with wifi enabled ones

    Inexpensive video monitor?

We currently have the Infant Optics DXR-8 video monitor, which I love. I’m thinking of getting a spare monitor to keep in the diaper bag. If we’re visiting friends or family we like to put the baby to sleep in a quiet room at his usual bedtime. We have a cheap v-tech audio only monitor, but...

Is it a FTM thing? A singleton thing? A personality thing?

@goblue24 When my twins needed helmets, I had an acquaintance say that her kids never needed helmets because “I never put my kids down!” Which implied that it was my fault my twins had flat heads. At least this friend was trying to be supportive?

    I’m tired, y’all

@rivka I’m right there with you. 3 month old twins and 20 month old toddler, plus migraines. We’ll both get through this! I aim for safe, clean, and fed most days. If I can keep them happy, too, then that’s a bonus.

37 weeks, twin girls, natural or section?

@lisajcoleman1 Trust the doctor. Twin B being transverse is pretty likely to end in a c-section. My boys were positioned the same way and I had a c-section at my doctor’s recommendation despite being absolutely terrified of surgery (and the c-section wasn’t bad at all - I was so scared...

    Feelings you’d have twins..?

@twinmum Not me but my husband. When we talked about a second kid, he said “what if it’s twins?” He only wanted two kids. I reassured him the odds with no family history on my side was 1/250. Right before my ultrasound, I was texting him (Covid so he couldn’t come). I was saying I was nervous...

How did y’all potty train multiples?

@peace608 Mine were unintentionally one at a time. One twin was ready, the other had no interest. Twin B trained about 6 months earlier than A. When we did initially try both, we just kept two potties.
