My supervisor didn’t say I was ok to take the day before my planned c-section off…?

@qork With FMLA I had contractions day before my FMLA date and stayed home. They just adjusted my FMLA to start the day I called out. On the other hand, when your boss says something like that, just say what I always say: “That’s fine if it isn’t approved; but I won’t be here regardless”

How do you have time to do anything?

@babszie I’ll tell you my schedule to see if that helps We get home from daycare at 5:30, I have been taking every other day to either workout for 30 mins or get a head start on washing bottles and stuff. Hi y’all, is anyone one and done due to health? I’m falling apart postpartum

@laurencesantos Yeah it sucks. Whatever, my boy is with me and I’m not putting myself through it again. Going back to the gym has boosted my confidence tremendously so I’m in a better spot mentally and physically now. ALSO finally having me time and feeling like myself is another reason to not...

Hi y’all, is anyone one and done due to health? I’m falling apart postpartum

@laurencesantos Have not. I was followed closely by my docs because I had to go back into the hospital less than 24 hours after being discharged with my son. My left side of m pelvis is actually 2mm higher than the right, and many doctors think this is the cause of my pelvis issue

Hi y’all, is anyone one and done due to health? I’m falling apart postpartum

@ababwaalijaz Omg yes the making sure thing. Ugh it really is so debilitating. I couldn’t enjoy my son. Being done with BFing didn’t help, but the medication did. I’m so much happier and still get some intrusive thoughts or images, but I worked with a therapist and tell myself that it’s...

Hi y’all, is anyone one and done due to health? I’m falling apart postpartum

@ababwaalijaz Absolutely. My PPOCD was causing me to check my backseat mirror multiple times before getting out of the car, going back to check the car because my brain wouldn’t accept that I was POSITIVE I dropped my son off. I had vivid images of knives flying out of the holder and stabbing...

Hi y’all, is anyone one and done due to health? I’m falling apart postpartum

@laurencesantos Yes! One of my biggest reasons!! My pelvis came together wrong so I’m in a lot of pain at my pubic symphysis, my abs are still open and hurt, my left rib is flared and I’ve had very bad PPA/PPD and almost debilitating PPOCD. I finally am on Zoloft which has helped my PPOCD...
